Add romance to your wedding with Calligraphy!

Couples are always looking for creative ways to make their wedding more personable. I just LOVE the way calligraphy can be used to add creativity and romance to your wedding design or special occasion.

Hannah with one of her handwritten backdrops of a couples vows

Hannah is not only a talented artist, but she is the creative force behind Hannah Elaine Lettering where she brings a stylish flair to weddings everywhere. Here is more about Hannah in her own words.

I’m a 24-year-old, Cincinnati girl who just adores love... and a quality iced coffee! My journey in calligraphy and lettering began solely as a creative outlet in college and has evolved into a huge passion! The more I created, the more I realized how I have the ability to take someone’s most cherished words and create a tangible version of them.

I love calligraphy and lettering because the creative opportunities are limitless! One of my favorite aspects of this industry is making my brides’ creative visions a reality. From vow backdrops and seating charts, to custom signs and venue portraits, my biggest desire is to create pieces that will be treasured for years.

I am so humbled and honored when couples entrust me with their most cherished words, and I myself hold them so dear. Whether your piece is to be displayed on your sweetheart table at your wedding, or hung in your first home, I’m here to preserve your most treasured words. Please reach out to me on Instagram (@hannahelainelettering)! I’m always up for meeting new friends over a good cup of coffee or delicious plate of tacos.

We know brides book Hannah because she's going to take their words and create something beautiful and meaningful. We loving working with Hannah, her kind heart will make you feel like family. Here are a few of our favorite details that our brides like to use calligraphy for:

  1. Vows - in a book, as a backdrop or on a beautiful piece of paper to frame later.

  2. Seating charts - as shown in above picture, this is a great keepsake for after your wedding as well.

  3. Place cards - This is so elegant and guests actually will keep them.

  4. Signs - bar signs, menu signs, welcome signs....so many creative options

  5. Labels - for your dessert station, oh this is such a cute option

We hope you have been inspired to create some beautiful and timeless word art for your special occasion or wedding day! Be sure to reach out to sweet Hannah, I know you'll just love working with her as much as we do.

XO Dana
